Review requirements and technical design documents to create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and coordinate in establishing the use case scenarios for functional and regression tests. Support the QA efforts to ensure the successful release of the Advanced Credit and Risk service and its supporting applications. Maintain the test automation code and resources in source code management tools. Report defects with development engineers in resolution of problems. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. Position allows for partial remote work (2-3 times in the office). Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Austin, TXStarting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Requires 3 years of related experience, which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Object-oriented development using Java; Functional, smoke, hot fixes, and regression testing of REST service APIs for consumer sales applications; Design, implement, and enhance backend API test automation code framework using core Java or C # validation assertions; Developing, testing, and maintaining internal applications (such as REST services) using Java, TypeScript, and PostMan (for testing); CI/CD process including deployments, monitoring, and creating pipelines and tools including Jenkins, GitHub, Splunk, Spinnaker and RIO CI/CD; and, Oracle SQL and No SQL database with Casandra.
