If you're a Civil Engineer with a love for solving problems, managing diverse projects, and building strong relationships, we might have your next role!We're looking for an experienced civil/traffic engineer to join a friendly and flexible team of transport experts as their new Asset Delivery Engineer.In this role, you would be responsible for implementing work programmes and working collaboratively with team members, contractors, and external stakeholders to improve safety and accessibility for travellers through sound transport infrastructure.This role would be ideal for an engineer and project manager who enjoys working in collaborative environments and is comfortable communicating to a variety of people and communities with the ability to translate technical expertise into easily understood language.Key responsibilities include:

Providing technical input to planning and rectification of minor civil structures and other project civil works.
Contributing to the development and review of policies and standards related to design, procurement, replacement, and on-going management of relevant assets.
Project managing CAPEX projects including, renewal, replacement, and upgrade of assets, ensuring deliverables meet applicable standards and guidelines while ensuring health and safety requirements are adhered to.
Implementing and managing contracted programmes including assets renewal, maintenance, cleaning, and security as required
Engaging with residents, community groups and community boards to gain community support for on-road works and installation.
Representing the team and organisation credibly and professionally, internally, and externally.

You'll bring to this role:

A relevant Civil Engineering Qualification
Proven project management experience and knowledge
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate your technical knowledge to a wide variety of people
The ability to work collaboratively as part of team
Exposure to the public sector would be ideal.
