Macmillan Education produces content for English Language Teaching (ELT) and for Schools curricula around the world.About the RoleWe are hiring for two Key Accounts Sales Manager to oversee our University accounts in either Istanbul or Ankara. In this role you will manage promotion campaigns targeting Macmillan Educations University customers. You will work to increase market-share and generate demand in the regions, through an extensive programme of visits to all types of educational institutions, specifically University Prep year and Freshman ELT programs, retailers and distribution partners in the territory. This will include exploring new opportunities and providing feedback on market intelligence.Role Responsibilities:
  • To assist Macmillan Education to realise agreed print/digital sales targets for the defined region
  • Under the direction of the line manager to organise, carry out and report on an extensive programme of visits to all types of educational institutions- specifically universities, retailers and distribution partners in the territory
  • Promote print/digital products
  • Attend major conferences and events in the territory, giving product presentations when required to generate leads and build awareness of Macmillan Education product
  • Collect and collate market intelligence on print/digital products; report back on digital trends in the region and proactively provide input on market-specific requirements
  • Providing product advice to schools and booksellers
  • Participating in product launch campaigns
  • Collating market information and product feedback
  • Regularly update the CRM
  • Developing and feeding into a Pipeline
  • Key Account Management with a solution selling approach
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:Essential
  • Self-motivated
  • Demonstrable experience of meeting targets
  • Consultative sales approach
  • Knowledge of the Turkiye University ELT market and education system and/or educational publishing
  • Confident user of technology including Microsoft Suite.
  • Presentation skills - face to face and remote in relation to marketing activities and for sales meetings
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the region as part of the position
  • Bachelors Degree or Masters
Desirable
  • CELTA/DELTA
