Job SummaryUses professional concepts to apply organization policies and procedures to oversee a variety of ongoing administrative operational issues. Administers defined operational program. Analyzes and resolves operational problems of moderate scope.Under the guidance and supervision of the program manager the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the UCSF Public Psychiatry Fellowship and DPH Public Psychiatry Administrative Fellowship. The incumbent will assist with fellowship recruitment and onboarding, as well as scheduling and coordinating the weekly fellowship didactics; quarterly workshops, as well as, organizing various field trips throughout the year. The incumbent will assist with maintaining placement site contracts, Memorandum of Understanding, and Plan of Actions, as well as, assisting with gathering and analyzing multiple budgets for the fellowship. The incumbent will organize and plan various fellowship events; coordinate space and IT needs; and maintain the fellowship website and collaborative learning environment.   • Bachelor's degree in related area and one year of expeience or equivalent experience / training.
  • Working knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of faculty and staff verbally and in writing.
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
  • Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
