- Conduct inspections of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) installations, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Verify the implementation of MEP designs, drawings, and specifications in accordance with approved plans and applicable codes.
- Monitor MEP construction activities, including installation of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing fixtures, and fire protection systems.
- Identify and report any non-conformities, defects, or discrepancies observed during inspections and coordinate with project stakeholders to address corrective actions.
- Review contractor submittals, including MEP shop drawings, method statements, and material samples, for compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with MEP engineers, designers, and consultants to resolve technical issues, clarify specifications, and ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project records, documentation, and progress reports related to MEP works.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior inspectors and site personnel as needed.
- Promote adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry best practices in MEP construction activities.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and site visits to support project coordination and interface management activities.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in MEP inspection roles within the consultancy sector, with a focus on site supervision for infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, installations, and testing procedures.
- Familiarity with MEP codes, standards, and regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and multicultural team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Professional certifications or licenses related to MEP inspection or engineering are advantageous.
