Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times.Job Functions: * Provides safe environment of care for patients.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Effectively monitors and reports QA issues.
  • Contributes to planning and implementation of radiation treatments.
  • Monitors radiation treatments.
  • Provides timely, adequate teaching to patient/family/significant other.
  • Consistently documents assessments and interventions in the electronic radiation treatment chart.
  • Versatility in all aspects of Radiation Therapy.
  • Performs fabrication of immobilization devices per physician orders.
  • Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
QualificationsMinimum Education/Experience Required:
  • Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • A registered Radiologic Technologist with the ARRT.
  • Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiation Therapy Technology.
  • Registered Radiation Therapist with ARRT.
  • Current radiologic licensure from the State of Ohio Department of Health.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Maintains compliance in RQI required.
Special Knowledge, Skills, Training:
  • Verbal and written communication skills, clerical, numerical, and manual dexterity, IV therapy skills, proper lifting techniques and body mechanics.
