Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - Home HealthPosition Overview: As an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in our esteemed home health agency, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to our clients. You'll work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations, implement policies and procedures, and provide leadership to our dedicated team of nurses and caregivers.   • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement strategic plans for clinical services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular assessments of patient care needs and ensure appropriate care plans are developed and implemented in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff, promoting professional development and growth opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze clinical data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance quality of care and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical staff, clients, families, and other healthcare providers to facilitate communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including audits, surveys, and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current state licensure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in home health or a related healthcare setting, with demonstrated leadership and managerial skills.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards related to home health services.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to changing environments.
