The individual should be highly motivated, possess sound judgement and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavours. This role offers the unique opportunity to join a fast-growing and dynamic organisation in Singapore.Role and Responsibilities
  • Perform industry research in the areas of Carbon Ecosystem Enablers (e.g. carbon exchange and marketplaces, monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV), carbon ratings, carbon accounting and advisory services, among other sectors)
  • Support the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities through:
  • Financial modelling, valuation analyses, and sensitivity & scenario analyses
  • Collaborate internally to build investment thesis and prepare investment memorandums
  • Conduct in-depth due diligence across commercial, financial, tax, ESG and legal workstreams, in conjunction with Corporate departments
  • Preparing written analyses, evaluations and presentations for investment opportunities for use and review by relevant stakeholders
  • Assist with the ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies, and undertake required analysis of performance against investment thesis and projected returns
  • Support tracking of investment pipeline and pace of deployment, as well as dynamic portfolio allocation and construction
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or accounting advisory services
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance and/or engineering or a related field
  • Interest in sustainability and climate
  • Analytical problem-solver with attention to details
  • Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong research and due diligence capabilities
  • High level of professionalism and personal integrity
