If you are a Project Engineer with construction experience, read on!About UsOur company has been a leader in Energy & Industrial ConstructionWith more than two decades of experience constructing and maintaining critical infrastructure, we're known within the industry for taking on dirty, difficult and complex projects.Since then, our teams provide multi-trade disciplines including - civil, structural, and mechanical services. Performing various types of projects in support of new construction, retrofits, maintenance, and outage related work.Because of our growth, we are looking for a Project Engineer, who has at least 3+yrs of recent construction experience, preferably, with Industrial type project experience.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:-Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.-Collaborate with engineers, architects, etc. to determine the specifications of the project.-Manage all document control.-Assists in master schedule preparation, maintenance and reporting-Knowledge in design scheduling, construction scheduling, program scheduling, and cost & resource loading. This includes developing detailed WBS, milestones, activities definition, logical sequences, durations, activity dependencies and interdependencies, and activity contingencies.-Coordinate meetings-Manage prime contracts and subcontracts-Responsible for overall direction, completion and financial outcome of projects.-Reviews jobs with estimator to help the bid process. Review and sign off on estimate prior to proposal completion.-Creates overall job schedule and issues schedule, work orders and budgets to the office and field.-Prepares project status reports and works to ensure work adheres to contract specifications.-Reports and documents changes to each job including: change orders, submittals, change of plan set, changes to work orders due to the change order and any other change to the original contract.-Responsible for monitoring materials and work completed to issue pay requests for each job before billing due date.-Act as an intermediary for all communications between the owner, engineers, and our company personnel to maintain and grow relationships.-Develop and implement corrective actions per quality and safety program-Ensure customer quality standards are met-Conduct quality inspectionsRequired Experience & Qualifications-Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.-Applicants should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience working as a Project Engineer.-Must be willing to travel occasionally, work from home and handle multiple jobs.-Software proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe, Project and Primavera P6.Preferred Education and Experience-Project Management Professional (PMP).-Ability to travel throughout Michigan and the Mid-West.-2 years of experience in developing, maintaining and updating MS Project and Primavera (Preferably P6) schedulesFor YouBase Salary 75K-115K (DOE)
