- Provide multiculturally-sensitive brief counseling (virtual and in person) for individuals with diverse presenting concerns
- Provide clinical services including, but not limited to treatment planning, short-term counseling, psychoeducational group therapy, crisis intervention services, and case management
- Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations, triage, and participate in CCCPS’s crisis intervention services including crisis clinic, and supervised after-hours crisis coverage (initial responses and crisis stabilization provided by ProtoCall staff)
- Administer and document supervised risk assessments and risk reduction interventions.
- Provide consultation and outreach to clients and their families, WVU faculty/staff, and the university community
- Complete required documentation in an electronic health record system and quality assurance activities including routine monitoring and management of student treatment compliance.
- Serve as a liaison to various campus stakeholders and ensure that students, faculty and staff are provided with timely information regarding CCCPS and student mental health concerns and resources.
- Other duties as assigned
- Outreach: 5 outreaches per semester (2 in summer)
- Triages: 6 Weekly
- Urgent/Crisis Clinic: 3 hours
- Weekly Clinical Hours: 27
- ~ 16-18 clients a week (pending outreaches)
- ~ 4-5 hours a week of support/prep admin time per week

- Recently graduated (within last 2 years) and obtained Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling.
- Experience providing outpatient clinical services in a multidisciplinary setting
- Experience providing services to diverse, college–age students or other adults (e.g., Black, Latinx, API, LGBTQ+, non-traditional students, military veterans etc)
- Experience with Excel, Microsoft Access, or similar software
- Ability to navigate and to collaborate with university and healthcare systems
- Geographical availability to provide timely on campus emergency responses during on call weeks (2- 4 weeks per year)
- Required to complete licensure exam (NCE or LGSW) prior to start date.
- Required to complete Licensure Packet for Provisional Counseling License such that Provisional License is approved by Board by start date.
