FCAS launched the Stand Up To Jewish Hate campaign in 2023, reaching millions of people across the United States and establishing the Blue Square as a universal symbol to stand against antisemitism and all forms of hate. Through powerful positive messaging and partnerships with prominent Jewish and non-Jewish organizations, FCAS is strongly positioned to drive effective change. FCAS leverages unique monitoring technology to drive effective rapid response to Jewish hate and all hate, in addition to proactive programs that galvanize popular support for the Jewish community.SUMMARY: The Development Operations Manager will be responsible for managing daily database operations and core-data related initiatives and system implementation that advance FCAS’ ability to build, grow and sustain donor engagement. The role will manage donor operations, including gift processing and administration, management of constituent records and data request fulfillment.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage day-to-day operational infrastructure for the Foundation’s Development effort.
  • Ensure operational excellence, efficiency, and rigor in implementing the development team’s fundraising strategy, providing data analysis to processes, and reporting in support of fundraising, at scale.
  • Lead efforts to plan and track revenue generation by creating dashboards, reports and trackers to support fundraising efforts and provide accurate and timely updates that are regularly reviewed with the Development team and Foundation leadership.
  • Create and maintain digital library of FCAS donor collateral to support prospect and donor engagement and stewardship.
  • Work collaboratively with the Finance Department to complete reconciliation as well as create and tailor financial reports in formats requested by funders.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of the Salesforce CRM; manage employee training on Salesforce and ongoing maintenance of Salesforce, including creation of data entry protocols and procedures; effective management and maintenance of constituent records.
  • Develop and oversee engagement plan for individual donors through online giving, direct mail, digital campaigns and special events.
  • Provide support for identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities in conjunction with the Chief Philanthropy Officer.
  • Ensure fidelity to donor agreements by incorporating best practices and systems for efficient stewardship processes.
  • Oversee the production of detailed and summary daily, monthly, and quarterly gift reports to monitor pledge and payment progress and status.
  • Manage and support individual, corporate and prospect research and the development of robust donor profiles using iWave and Salesforce.
  • Ensure programmatic commitments, FCAS policies and procedures, financial standards, and legal requirements are met and managed for compliance.
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • High degree of fluency in computer technologies, including CRM databases such as Salesforce and proficiency with manipulating and retrieving data from complex database sources and preparing statistical or financial analysis. Proficiency with word processing, excel, spreadsheet, design, publishing, and presentation software.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with experience planning, executing, and completing multiple complex projects.
  • Must be detail-oriented, self-starter with an ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities to meet aggressive timelines and challenging deadlines.
  • Ability to apply sound judgment, discretion, and a commitment to professional ethics and data security when dealing with highly confidential donor and prospect information.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • In depth knowledge of best practices related to receiving and processing charitable donations and donor record management.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in a dynamic and deadline driven environment. Ability to problem-solve under pressure and adapt to a rapidly growing environment.
  • Personal commitment to fighting antisemitism and hate.
  • Prior experience with Development operations including implementation and management of systems to track, measure and monitor donor giving and engagement.
  • Prior experience working with donors or similar constituency requiring high-touch and ongoing management and stewardship.
  • Experience working in a dynamic fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
