- Develop the quarterly backlog and monthly editorial calendar
- Build a communication pipeline between Operations, Revenue, our Media Personality, and Editorial
- Manage several writers, freelancers, and/or copy editors
- Oversee freelancer assignments and approve invoices
- Ensure all editorial assignments are appropriately resourced
- Ensure the topic is meeting production goals
- Ensure the topic is on budget
- Conduct quality reviews on content
- Edit and update content as needed
- Minimum of 5 years in an editorial leadership role, including management of on-staff writers and freelancers
- Minimum of 7 years in the publishing industry
- Comprehensive understanding of editorial strategy for B2B technology coverage
- Comprehensive understanding and proven experience with the IT channel industry
- Working knowledge of SEO and revenue best practices preferred
- Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
