- Assists with the admission process on new client admissions and orientation procedures and schedules.
- Co-facilitate all orientation groups and daily living skills groups.
- Know where clients are at all times.
- Provides liaison with staff and other staff to ensure that all clients' needs are be met.
- Provides supervision of meals, including supervision of servers and clean-up crew after each meal. Ensure that garbage is disposed of properly after each meal.
- Monitor rooms to ensure cleanliness after each activity.
- Participate in required staff training and staff meetings as scheduled.
- Supervise clients with emphasis on client safety and well-being.
- Remind clients of program rules and regulations as necessary and report infractions appropriately.
- Provide emotional support for clients while referring them to therapy staff to deal with clinical issues.
- Complete all assigned paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely manner.
- Complete incident reports according to policy in a timely, accurate manner.
- Communicate with other staff as necessary to promote quality client care.
- Observe and report safety, maintenance problems.
- Exercise sound professional judgment and seek assistance as necessary to effectively manage client behavior.
- Follows all company policies and procedures.
- High School Graduate/GED required
- At least two working with individuals in the behavioral health field
- Current driver's license with a good driving record of at least three years
- English-Spanish bilingual and lived experience preferred
