Architecting and implementing solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to best practices and coding standards. Collaborating with designers to ensure the integrity of the UI/UX design is maintained throughout the development process. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Optimizing website performance, including page load speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience. Integrating third-party systems and APIs to extend the capabilities of the Shopify platform. Conducting code reviews and providing mentorship to junior developers to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in e-commerce and Shopify development to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure the stability and reliability of the e-commerce platform. Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide estimates, and deliver solutions that meet project timelines and objectives. Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile optimization techniques. Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques and best practices. Experience with integrating third-party APIs and services. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Shopify Plus certification is a plus. Requirements 7+ years of experience building Shopify themes and customizing Shopify stores using Shopify's APIs. Expert knowledge of Shopify templating language (Liquid), Sections, themes.js, app.js, asset pipelines etc. Proven experience integrating payment gateways, shipping providers, inventory management and other third party apps. Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and basic knowledge of server-side languages like PHP.
