- Design and permitting of roadway, signing and pavement marking and/or signalization plans for widening projects, intersection upgrades, school flashers, mid-block crossings, etc.
- Development of various traffic operations and safety studies to help identify, evaluate, and recommend traffic operations and safety improvements for intersections, and arterials.
- Data collection analysis of corridor traffic counts, including turning movement counts (TMC), average daily traffic (ADT) counts, heavy vehicle counts and queue length studies.
- Crash analysis for the corridor, Arterial Safety Analysis and Intersection Safety Analyses for the study intersections.
- Conduct traffic impact studies to assess the development project's impact on the surrounding transportation network and determine if adequate capacity is available to support future demand. As part of a preliminary existing conditions study, traffic data was collected at the intersections within the project study area. The traffic volume data includes 24- Hour Bi-Directional Machine Counts, Segment Traffic Volumes and 4-hour intersection turning movement volumes, during the AM and PM peak periods.
- Plans and Traffic Impact Analysis review on behalf of municipalities
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience in Microstation preferred
- Experience in CAD required
- EIT certification
