- Collaborate with others to optimize a comprehensive enterprise level data protection service utilizing Test Data Management technology and Data Governance best practices.
- Implement Test Data Management frameworks, methodologies, and tooling to ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of non-production data while adhering to data protection and privacy requirements.
- Monitor and optimize test data protection processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and minimize data-related risks.
- Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies, standards, and controls to safeguard sensitive data from unauthorized access, disclosure, and misuse.
- Continuously look for improvement opportunities to increase the value and business outcome of the Data Governance function.
- Facilitate and lead meetings with data owners, data stewards, security, and compliance to identify and address data protection use cases and issues.
- Collaborate with data owners, security, compliance, software engineering and QA teams to identify and protect sensitive data assets in non-production environments.
- Build and maintain expertise on Data Protection and Data Governance tools and frameworks like Delphix Test Data Management and Collibra.
- Support change management efforts to improve data literacy across Ameritas.
- Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills when working with associates and external partners including presenting outcomes to various audiences.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 1-3 years relevant experience required to include a combination of the following:
- Experience in data protection, data security, test data management, data governance, and business analysis roles within complex organizational environments.
- Understanding of data protection and security concepts, methodologies, and tools, including masking, encryption, access controls, vulnerability management, and security incident response.
- Experience with test data management practices, including data masking and synthetic data generation.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices, with experience in developing and implementing data governance policies, standards, and controls.
- Understanding of data governance principles, best practices, and industry standards.
- Experience with data governance tools and technologies desired. Experience with Delphix and/or Collibra strongly preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable data protection, security, and governance solutions desired.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results in a dynamic environment required.
