Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.Job DescriptionJob Overview:We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Sales Support Specialist to join our high-performing team in the cable and digital advertising industry. As a Senior Sales Support Specialist, you will play a leadership role in providing comprehensive support to our sales team, ensuring the seamless execution of advertising campaigns and fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cable advertising processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.Responsibilities:Client Relationship Management:Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery.Collaborate with the sales team to strategize and optimize advertising solutions for clients.Campaign Coordination:Oversee the end-to-end process of advertising campaign execution, from order processing to monitoring campaign performance.Provide guidance to the team on resolving campaign-related issues and ensuring client satisfaction.Collaborate with the sales and creative teams to ensure that campaigns align with client objectives, ensuring accurate placement of ads and a high level of clearance of the advertising schedule.Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.Team Leadership:Mentor and train junior sales support specialists, sharing industry knowledge and best practices.Lead by example in maintaining a high standard of professionalism and efficiency within the sales support team.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to the development of more efficient workflows.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and enhance overall operational effectiveness.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain organized and up-to-date records of client communications, contracts, and other relevant documentation.Generate regular reports on campaign performance metrics and provide regular feedback to increase ad placement, increasing departmental efficiency and reducing re-work.Reporting and Analysis:Generate comprehensive reports on sales activities, campaign performance, and client feedback.Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive strategic decision-making.Strategic Planning:Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights to the sales team.Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement strategic plans for achieving sales targets.Contribute to the development of sales presentations, proposals, and other materials.Qualifications:Minimum :High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field (i.e. customer service, sales support, media sales or digital/advertising marketing environment, etc.) The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience.Proven experience in sales support or a similar role, preferably within the cable advertising industry.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to reason, troubleshoot and problem solve.Knowledge of cable advertising trends and industry dynamics is a plus.Preferred:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.2 or more years of experience preferred in related field.2 or more years experience as a media buyer or planner, performing advertising agency work, working in a client-side marketing or public relations role, or some combination of theseIf you are a seasoned sales support professional with a track record of success in cable and digital advertising, and you are ready to take on a leadership role, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
