This is an opportunity for a driven project manager to take on ground breaking projects with a firm who is leading innovation in the construction industry. There is a clear path for growth and progression within the firm if candidate desires.
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of ground-up data center construction projects from start to finish
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control measures are implemented and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and schedules are maintained
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are upheld
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, addressing concerns, and managing expectations
  • Lead project meetings, including kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and close-out meetings, to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned
  • Document project progress, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and change orders, to maintain accurate records and facilitate project close-out

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Extensive experience managing ground-up data center construction projects from inception to completion
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering data center projects on time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, including ground work, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems relevant to data centers
  • Proficient in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Excellent communication skills, able to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Ability to travel and work from the job site
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety standards compliance
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of managing and motivating multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals
