- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of ground-up data center construction projects from start to finish
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control measures are implemented and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and schedules are maintained
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are upheld
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, addressing concerns, and managing expectations
- Lead project meetings, including kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and close-out meetings, to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned
- Document project progress, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and change orders, to maintain accurate records and facilitate project close-out
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Extensive experience managing ground-up data center construction projects from inception to completion
- Proven track record of successfully delivering data center projects on time and within budget
- Strong understanding of construction processes, including ground work, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems relevant to data centers
- Proficient in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Excellent communication skills, able to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Ability to travel and work from the job site
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety standards compliance
- Strong leadership skills, capable of managing and motivating multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals
