Join the Information Technology team at NewYork-Presbyterian!The Senior Epic Analyst - MyChart is responsible for providing, tactical, and operational support for the implementation of enterprise Epic Clinical IT systems. This role is responsible for system build, implementation and operation activities for assigned Epic Modules. The individual will be part of a consortium team with colleagues at affiliated institutions, consisting of clinicians, project managers, analysts, and developers with module specific domain expertise. This position works closely with clinical and business users and assists a multi-disciplinary team in the design, implementation, optimization, change management, and issue resolution related to the enterprise system. This position requires broad exposure to systems such as the Epic platform, along with clinical workflow and business processes. As a Senior Analyst for the enterprise Epic initiative, this individual will collaborate with appropriate technical and operational leaders from affiliated institutions.*This position will work four days per week in-office and one day remotely.Senior Epic Analyst - MyChart
  • Supports the relevant departmental environment including all applications and operational interfaces. Performs intermediate problem analysis and troubleshooting and maintains appropriate documentation. Escalates complex issues to the appropriate group in a timely manner.
  • Provides intermediate programming and/or analytical support for the relevant departmental system, subsystems, and related software products, in support of clinical and operational clients.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains project plans, provide design and installation/support documentation. Creates or modifies change management procedures per departmental standards as necessary.
  • Designs, configures, and installs new programs, modifications, or enhancements to existing systems. Analyzes modifications or enhancements to determine impact on existing production systems.
  • Provides status reports and insights to departmental leadership in ad-hoc and weekly meetings. Represents the department team in user meetings and perform project management duties as needed. Work with other departments to understand their needs.
Preferred Criteria
  • MyChart or other relevant Epic Certification
  • 3+ years Epic Analyst Experience
  • Degree or major in Computer Science
  • PMP Certification
Required Criteria
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Epic Module Certification obtained within twelve months of employment
  • Two or more years of previous work-related experience
