  • Scoping, performing and interpreting laboratory measurements with a focus on routine core analysis (RCA) and special core analysis (SCAL) to support and advice all E&P value centers globally.
  • Designing and maturing state of the art laboratory workflows to assess rock-fluid interactions for Low Carbon Business (LCB) and enhanced gas recovery including investigations into microbial and chemical effects on fluid flow parameters.
  • Developing, designing and applying of the state of the art test facilities for Reservoir Technologies projects & Pilot plants.
  • Assuring the completion of projects in time, at agreed standards, with full product delivery as well as advising on best-practice workflow, processes and procedures to internal clients and OMV branch offices.
  • Maintaining excellent communication and cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Actively contributing to internationally recognized organizations (e.g. venture partners, authorities, contractors, societies).
  • Mentoring, training and supervising of the Junior Engineers.
Your profile
  • University Master Degree/Diploma in the field of Petrophysics, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geophysics or Physics.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in an industry or academic laboratory environment.
  • Relevant laboratory experience in performing routine core analysis, special core analysis of advantage.
  • Profound understanding of displacement processes and relative permeabilities.
  • Good knowledge of the industry and high HSSE awareness.
  • Great communication and team work skills.
  • Fluency in English.
