- Research and Development lab management. This will include maintenance of all tools, instruments and equipment and ensuring compliance and timely preventive maintenance measures.
- Maintenance of all Robotic systems for R&D department. Additional duties will include:
- Under little to no supervision, schedule, design and perform unique experiments as requested. Evaluate and confirm test data accuracy and generate formal verbal and/or written reports on the findings to the appropriate personnel.
- Extract and process data/findings into formal written and verbal reports which comply with FDA requirements.
- Work cooperatively with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing and Project Management to ensure project success and contribute to projects as a team member.
- Learn procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology required.
- Work on problems in limited scope; purposefully learn while gaining experience.
- Design, develop, modify, evaluate, and verify software components for medical devices.
- In code reviews apply design principles, coding standards, and best practices.
- Demonstrate ownership and integrity of work.
- Build stable relationships.
- Participate in code reviews applying design principles, coding standards, and best practices.
- Experience with Metrology equipment; CMM, Articulate Arm, Laser scanners and trackers, Tensile/compression and fatigue Testers
- Experience in tool release
- Experience in working with equipment suppliers
- Electro-mechanical background, ability to innovate, design and assemble test fixture.
- Hands on experience with Machine shop tools: Lathe, Milling machine, CNC, etc.
- 6S understanding
- EHS requirements understanding
- Electrical and mechanical assembly troubleshooting
- Word, Excel, Power Point and basic computer knowledge
- Validation and Verification experience
- Basic probability knowledge
