ResponsibilitiesPainters are responsible for preparing parts of painting in addition to spraying various primers and paints. Painters also perform small amounts of body work and repairs as well as paint blending.
  • Spray primer, interior, and protective paints
  • Prepare parts for painting
  • Paint parts
  • Make small repairs
  • Buff vehicles and parts
  • Repair defects or damages to parts or full units which may include small amounts of body work and paint blending
  • Set up and control paint systems

  • Minimum of 3-5 years previous painter experience is required
  • Confidence to handle high volume painting needs
  • Ability to read/interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions and procedures manual
  • Excellent communication skills, high level of initiative, and ability to work in a team
  • General math skills
  • Experience in the body shop/automotive field
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen with a valid driver’s license
  • Professional appearance in accordance with body shop policies / dress code
