Your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain excavators, ensuring the precise excavation and movement of materials on construction sites.Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Operation: Safely and skillfully operate excavators to perform excavation, digging, trenching, and grading tasks as required by project plans and specifications.
  • Safety: Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures, ensuring the safety of yourself and your team at all times.
  • Maintenance: Conduct routine equipment maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, and reporting any equipment issues to the maintenance department.
  • Efficiency: Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency while operating excavators, contributing to project timelines and goals.
  • Quality Control: Ensure the quality of excavation work meets project standards and specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate excavation activities and ensure project success.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors, reporting progress, challenges, and equipment issues as necessary.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about and adhere to all relevant regulations, safety guidelines, and industry best practices.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address any operational challenges or issues that may arise during excavation work.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including daily equipment inspection reports and work logs.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Excavator - Heavy Equipment Operator in the heavy civil construction industry.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining excavators.
  • Knowledge of construction plans, blueprints, and excavation techniques.
  • Strong commitment to safety and strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at different job sites as required.
