At the Terneuzen site (BRZO site), we produce oxygen, nitrogen, compressed air and argon. The core of the production process is an air separation unit (ASU). In addition, this location contains an argon purification unit (APU), an air compression and drying unit (CDA), a unit to liquefy gaseous nitrogen (NLU), a backup system with evaporation units (TPV) and an installation for filling (freight) containers (ATF). The installation supplies gaseous products to the nearby customer. The liquid products are very pure and are distributed by truck (by Air Liquide Industrial Merchant).We are currently looking for aProduction / Maintenance Engineer (E&I)to complement our current team.What does a Production/Maintenance engineer (E&I) do?As a Production/Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the daily support towards our Plant Supervisors and Maintenance team ensuring both smooth operation and smooth maintenance execution and responsible for the implementation of short and long term improvement projects in the field of safety, reliability and efficiency.You will be part of a small and multi-skilled team and as such be trained on plant supervisory skills too, making you an integral part of the team. This includes being part of the call-out schedule. This role is perfect for a hands-on professional with a love for technical content, combined with the strategic skills to execute and manage projects/maintenance works.You have the ability to set the right priorities and see what really matters in a production environment;you are a good communicator, which helps you to have an excellent relationship with other departments both on site and externally and you have the capacity to start and guide initiatives in the right direction.Ben jij de juiste persoon voor deze functie?What is your background?Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical and or Instrumentation), or comparable via experience.Job skills and competences?Teamplayer: Working as a team is one of the key principles for success on a production site. You must be able to work together and find the best solution together with the team.“Hands - on mentality”: You should be able to find solutions on your own; a proactive and pragmatic mindset is a must.Communication skills: You will be in direct contact with colleagues, other departments, customers, international experts, ... If needed it is expected from you that you go the extra mile.Analytical: You are capable to solve complex issues.Learning agility: You get the best out of situations by learning on the job and from peers.
