Job DescriptionFLINT seeks experienced by-hand B Pressure Welders with TIG experience to join our team. As a B Pressure Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding tasks by industry standards and regulations. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our projects.FLINT is looking for staff to work locally out of one of our Sherwood Park Shop facilities. The Start Date is immediate, and the work schedule is Monday through Friday, with 10-hour shifts and overtime eligibility.What would you be doing?
Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
Recognize defective welds, know the cause, and know the repair procedure for the defective area.
Fuse metals safely and effectively using prescribed welding applications.
Perform tasks according to industry quality and production standards.
Does this sound like you?
Have your Journeyperson Welder Certificate.
Have your B-Pressure Certificate.
Have TIG Experience.
Stainless Steel experience is an asset.
Have CSTS20.
Know and understand metals, arc electrodes, welding gases and gas welding filler roads.
Know and understand the welding equipment involved in various procedures.
Have physical strength, stamina, and the use of proper lifting techniques.
Required to manage heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
Are adaptable and can work in a team environment.
Have safety as a top priority.
Able to read and understand complex instructions.
