Then become part of our mission and join our International Accounting team as Specialist Accounting 50% part-time CDD, as soon as possible. The Specialist Accounting is part of a dynamic and international
team and provides support to the Financial Department by managing daily accounting tasks.Main responsibilities and tasks:
- Prepare and book standard purchase invoices
- Follow up on GL acc.: invoices to be received
- Reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Verification of invoices prior to payment (check price differences)
- Update financial data in data bases
- Prepare and submit reports
- Assist accounting manager and senior accountant in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Support the senior accountant with follow up of supplier and customer balances
- Send payment reminders to customers
- Ad hoc accounting duties where required
- Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics and equivalent work experience of at least 3 years
- Good numerical and analytical skills, attention to details and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Reliable, pro-active, ability to multi-tasking
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Languages: English business fluent, German is considered as a plus
- Good command of Excel, knowledge of SAP is considered as an advantage
