- Collaborate as part of the JP Materials leadership team to support and instill the leadership and culture pillars of the organization and consistently demonstrate, and reinforce in others, the Wolfspeed culture of safety, integrity, ingenuity, and accountability.
- Be an agent of change to partner with the manufacturing organization to continually improve how we operate by inspiring and influencing other. Promote, champion, enable, and support efforts to improve the world’s first 200mm SiC wafer manufacturing facility every day
- Support consistent application of HR programs, policies and practices across the JP site.
- Participate and facilitate activities that increase organizational performance including leadership effectiveness, operational performance, talent growth and teambuilding.
- Work on assigned programs and special projects on a regular basis.
- Act as a liaison between entire JP site leaders/employees (beyond the Materials Operations organization), and their department’s HRBPs.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as an HR Generalist/HRBP.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant HR experience including employee relations in an internal customer-facing role.
- Experience accessing, compiling, and leveraging data and metrics. Proven technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of cultures, thinking styles, and approaches and maintain the highest standards for confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive information.
- Passion for working in a team environment; shows resiliency and a sense of humor.
- Aptitude for fostering a climate of candor, humility, adaptation, and trust; enables constructive conversations on alternative approaches with leaders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and interest in partnering with a 24/7 manufacturing workforce. This includes ability to spend at least 75% of standard working hours onsite; have the energy and comfort with wearing appropriate PPE while engaging enthusiastically with the team in a 1 M sq ft manufacturing facility.
