  • Works alongside Shop Management to plan and adjust daily job assignments by planning and providing work for subsequent shifts
  • Interface with personnel at all levels in the Organization in order to accomplish tasks and identify issues requiring action.
  • Develops plans to support critical schedule demands
  • Creates work orders in SAP to align getting employees on direct time charging jobs
  • Evaluate and prepare reports collected from data to identify trends and opportunities to improve shop utilization
  • Monitor metrics and advise shop management and associated groups on long term improvements
  • Create detailed summary reports and conduct meetings on findings with staff management, customer representative, and peers
  • Identify job assignments or where expense labor may not be supporting the Operation's goals with respect to efficiency, utilization and schedule needs and recommend corrective actions
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical field
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience
  • Strong computer skills. Including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and SAP experience is a plus.
  • General understanding of scheduling and planning in a fabrication facility
  • Problem solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing requirements and needs
