- Do you have 10 years of experience in commercial roles within the chemical or related industries, with at least 5 years in a senior management position?
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to enhance market presence, drive revenue growth, and achieve financial targets. Creating and executing strategic plans to attain sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Sales Management: Lead the market leads and sales teams to identify market opportunities, develop market and sales strategies, and execute market initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Customer Focused: Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels. Effectively communicating the company's value proposition, technology, processes, and current partnerships. Identifying and strategically solving client issues
- Customer Service Excellence: Oversee the customer service function to ensure exceptional service standards, fostering strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
- Product Development and Launch: Coordinate with R&D and product management teams to drive the development and introduction of new products, ensuring market needs are met, contributing to revenue growth. Providing coaching and mentorship to segment sales leaders, key account managers, and commercial personnel.
- Team Development and Engagement: Lead, motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
- Financial Performance: Monitor and manage the financial performance of the commercial division, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
- Market Analysis: Conduct and collaborate to provide comprehensive market analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior management and other key stakeholders to align commercial strategies with overall business goals.
- Ability to utilize analytics to assist in making data driven business decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial roles within the chemical or related industries, with at least 5 years in a senior management position.
- Proven track record of leading sales and market facing teams to achieve business growth and financial success.
- Strong understanding of the specialty chemical market, products, and customer needs.
- Strong initiative coupled with a sense of competitive drive.
- Practical, timely problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to engage the commitment of others.
- A firm and goal-oriented leadership style that focuses on motivating, training, and engagement.

- The salary range for this position is $190,000- $250,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
