Our team of over 16,000 members is located in Australia, Hong Kong and Bangladesh.About the OpportunityThe Team Experience Partner brings the BIG W strategy to life through working end to end across the people, safety and communications community to partner with the Leadership team to bring to life and embed a Customer 1st and Team 1st culture through our purpose, values and ways of working to deliver on the BIG W transformation programme and the Group People and Safety ambitions.Partnering with our State Manager and the leadership team, this is a senior partnering role supporting a team that leads Big W Stores in NSW & SA. Reporting through to our People Lead, your main responsibilities will includes, but are not limited to:What you'll doThis role will engage broadly across the people team, business and our portfolio of squads to put Teams at the heart of our delivery, driving deeper personalisation & care across our Team Journeys, defining clear objectives and key results to realise regular value across our quarterly delivery cycles.
  • Developing and implementing people strategies that attract, develop and retain talent to deliver on the strategic direction of the business
  • Researching and analysing people-related data to provide insights, identify opportunities and offer recommendations that will enhance organisational effectiveness
  • Driving continuous improvement of People practices by working end to end across our tribes and businesses
  • Proactively managing the implementation of change & culture initiatives
  • Providing actionable insights to Leaders on best practice and trends in HR data Design and implement tailored communications plans to drive the Portfolio's People Plan Partner with business on organisational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills development
  • Partnering with the business to lead both annual and mid-year review processes which focus on talent development and performance management
  • Providing management coaching to front line managers and senior leaders, and help create a diverse and inclusive culture that aligns to the Woolworths Purpose, Values and Ways of Working
What you'll bringThis role will suit someone with strong HR foundations, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and strong business acumen with the ability to think and plan for the long term, other key requirements are :
  • Having a strategic and creative mindset coupled with strong commercial acumen and experience in demonstrating business impact and outcomes as a result of action taken
  • Being comfortable working with ambiguity and knowing how to gain alignment and make sound decisions based on available information
  • Having a passion for understanding your stakeholders and mastery in embedding yourself into their world as a trusted and collaborative partner.
  • Most importantly, engaging and dealing with stakeholders holds no secret for you! You have an exceptional ability to build lasting relationships and partner with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation - a skill that has been developed through your previous experience in a strategic business partner role.
