QA/QC MANAGER (EXPORTED HIGH-END INDOOR FURNITURE) - ENGLISH SPEAKING

• QUALITY CONTROLLING:
• Be accountable to Operations Director to quality issues found by our customers.
• Contribute positive ideas to Operations Director to build up Quality Control department.
• DEFECTIVE CONTROLLING:
• Ensure all defective components/ products found for repairing prior to transfer to next production sites.
• Timely record and report new defects on products to Operations Director to find solutions and update in Quality Assurance manual.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors to minimize defects on components/ products on production line.
• MATERIAL CONTROLLING:
• Strictly control material quality of green/ dried wood input to material warehouse and dried wood output from dry kilns.
• INSPECTION:
• Be responsible for inspection results at production sites including rough and fine cutting, presanding, assembly, sanding, finishing, upholstery, packing, in finished goods warehouse and loading into container.
• Randomly inspect product quality with 5 % of total quantity checked by responsible Quality Inspectors at each production site.
• Closely monitor to ensure all Quality Inspectors follow Standard Operating Procedure of Quality Control Department
• Timely collect and forward Inspection Reports to consolidate defects on each Production Order.
• Be aware of cost saving and effectiveness and propagate the conception to Quality Inspectors and employees.
• Supervise implementation of Quality Inspectors to company and safety regulations.
• PRODUCTION CONTROLLING:
• Make logical working schedules for Quality Inspectors.
• TRAINING:
• Train new Quality Inspectors how to check quality on each kind of product.
• Provide proper information to appropriate colleagues when needful.
• Other tasks assigned by Operations Director

• University degree in Industrial Management/ Business Administration/ Mechanics/ Chemistry or relevant majors
• At least 6 years of experience in the same role; OR directly worked in wood processing AND/OR finishing department of furniture companies.
• Good knowledge of quality assurance systems.
• Solid understanding of Lean principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Auto Card or Corel Draw.
• Pay attention to details.
• Proactive, initiative, self-perfect, self- disciplined, honest.
• Good skills of interpersonal, analysis, management, motivation, problem solving, communication in both English and Vietnamese.
