HCP Talent is collaborating with a Long-Term Care/Rehabilitation (200+ beds) in the Bronx, NY 10465 that is seeking a Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a Full-time M-F day shift (7a-3p) position.***Free Parking***ADON Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Attend wound rounds alongside the wound MD
  • Expertly assess to all open wounds, encompassing changing, cleansing, and dressing.
  • Thoroughly complete all necessary admission paperwork and meticulously document residents' care.
  • Offer unwavering support and guidance to residents and their families.
  • Diligently monitor resident's wound status and ensure initiation of essential medication or treatments.
  • Strictly adhere to our rigorous infection-control policies, ensuring the safety of both residents and our dedicated team.
  • Guarantee the delivery of top-quality care by upholding our facility's outlined standards and care protocols.
  • Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
  • Serves as designated associate responsible for monitoring Public Health Advisories from local, state, and federal agencies including the CDC
  • Maintains a current knowledge of infection control trends, methodologies, and employee health practices
  • Performs work within the scope of his/her license
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Must be knowledgeable of Infection Prevention and Control practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing functions in the post-acute care facility

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Valid NYS RN License
  • 2+ Year Experience in Long-Term Care Required
  • 2+ Year of Nursing Experience Required
  • Wound and Ostomy certification
  • Infection control certification
