Field Application Engineer (Machine Vision)

• Manage and deliver 2D/3D machine vision projects.
• Participate from business development (technical level), product planning to product development phases.
• Provide technical support and training by integrating internal and external resource.

• Drive opportunity discovery, prospective customers and design in/wins with Sales team.
• Identify customer intelligence such as product requirements, decision criteria, roadblocks, timeline, budget, and competition etc.
• Conduct portfolio presentation and design proposal by cooperating with RD and Engineering teams.
• Facilitate optimum technical solutions based on customers product spec. and requirement.
• Deepen and broaden connections with customers by providing advanced technical support and consulting.
• Organize and lead technical training program requested by customers.

• AOI tools or solutions experience in Semiconductor/Panel/PCB fields.
• Experience in optical engineering.
• Familiar with line scan cameras.
• Basic understanding in algorithm or geometric optics.
