MAIN FUNCTIONS:The Accounting Staff Receivables is responsible for the updating of records and analysis of account or group of accounts.SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:1. Performs job functions consistent with DBPI's vision and mission statements and the Salesian values and charism2. Handles the accounting books related to cash receipts and other book of accounts that may be assigned3. Proactively keeps abreast on the latest tax pronouncements affecting the account4. Ensures compliance on applicable latest or applicable tax statutes5. Establishes and sets in operation controls and procedures together with the Accountant related to invoicing and related sales discounts6. Analyzes accounts and related aging of the accounts necessary for understanding account status and/or decision making7. Prepares invoices and credit / debit memos in relation to the particular book/s assigned8. Prepares schedule and/or statement of accounts on a periodical basis9. Monitors and records collection of accounts10. Analyzes information related to customers and provides recommendation to improve collection activities11. Prepares commission reports for Account Executives and Distributors12. Prepares Authors Royalty / Bonus reports13. Assists in budget preparation and analysis of accounts14. Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous or related to and/or implied from the above enumerated functions
