We take pride in our commitment to consumer protection and our mission to ensure fair treatment for all.Job Description:As a Lemon Law Attorney, you will be responsible for advocating for clients who have purchased defective vehicles, providing legal guidance, and representing their interests in various legal proceedings. You will work closely with clients, gather evidence, analyze cases, negotiate with manufacturers and dealerships, and, if necessary, litigate in court. Your primary focus will be on protecting consumer rights and seeking compensation for clients facing issues covered under the Lemon Law.Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights under the Lemon Law statutes
  • Assess the validity of claims and evaluate the strength of each case
  • Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence to support claims
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints and motions
  • Engage in settlement negotiations with manufacturers and dealerships
  • Represent clients in arbitration or court proceedings when necessary
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents related to consumer protection and Lemon Law
Requirements:
  • JD, Licensed to practice in good standing in Connecticut
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience practicing consumer protection law, preferably specializing in Lemon Law cases
  • Strong knowledge of Lemon Law statutes, regulations, and legal precedents
  • Ability to manage a high caseload and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
