The Manager, Technical Program Management, will lead the planning and execution of strategic Digital Consumer programs in the DE&E Technology portfolio.This position requires proven experience managing a team of professional employees and in program management. Ideal candidates must be highly proactive, detail-oriented, and work on multiple assignments that may span the department autonomously. They must be capable of clearly communicating schedules, risks, status, and processes to various business and technical audiences. Strive to inspire others and deliver the best possible outputsCoordinate with external vendors, where applicableBasic Qualifications:8+ years of experience managing large-scale, strategic programs in a well-established global technology organization, preferably with a technology infrastructure footprint3+ years of management experience (having direct reports)Capable of managing, tracking, and troubleshooting multiple initiatives in a deadline-driven environment with cross-functional teams, vendors, and partnersProven ability to facilitate effective communication across disparate teamsEvidence of solid planning, delivery, and problem-solving skillsSuperb written and verbal communications, presentation skills, and meeting facilitation skills (especially when working with senior leadership)BA/BS or equivalent experience required.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in a media technology environmentMedia engineering domain knowledge, or demonstrated aptitude for learning a technology-based engineering domainFormal project management certifications#DisneyTechThe hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, California and Seattle, Washington is $149,300 - $200,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
