Job SummaryThe HR Generalist at Briggs Automotive Group in Topeka, Kansas will be responsible for assisting with overall human resources support to the company. As a key member of the HR team, the individual will work closely with management and employees to ensure a positive and productive work environment.Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly position in the auto industry, paying $16 to $18 per hour. The compensation will be paid biweekly. In addition to a competitive salary, this position also offers comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) options.Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job listings, conducting interviews, and facilitating new employee orientations
- Maintain employee records and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Track and analyze human resources metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to management
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment and responding to employee inquiries regarding benefits
- Participate in developing and implementing company policies and procedures related to human resourcesRequirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
- Minimum of 1 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment, (internship experience considered) preferably in the auto industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systemsEEOC Statement:
