- Supporting customers and merchants: we are there to accompany them when they are using Alma, and their feedbacks allow us to improve the product;
- Managing debt collection actions from start to finish: our role is to reduce the late and default rates to guarantee the company's margin;
- Looking after new merchants during the on-boarding process and ensuring that they are able to install the Alma solution as quickly and as easily as possible;
- Continuously improving customer scoring (both automated and manual scoring), to allow a maximum of users to pay without friction whilst minimising fraud and losses from bad debt;
- Thwarting fraud attempts from both merchants and customers on a daily basis.
- Investigate in line with procedures impacted by legal and regulatory LCB-FT regulations.
- Analyse merchant accounts to ensure that they comply with Alma's general terms and conditions of use;
- Manage unusual behaviour alerts, risk of default, or changes in a merchants situation;
- Conduct in-depth research into merchants when there is a suspicion of fraud ;
- Monitor the activity of all merchants by analysing sales volumes, default rates and other indicators relevant to detecting fraud attempts;
- Establish reports in order to identify fraud patterns and continuously improve our control processes;
- Communicate with our merchants on issues related to risk management;
- Be the point of contact for our other internal teams (Customer Operations, Merchant Operations, Customer Success Managers & Sales) on merchant risk issues.
- You are rigorous and can show good investigation skills when analysing files;
- You have an interest in the following areas (with or without work experience): e-commerce, fintech, tech, the fight against fraud.
- You always follow things through to the end : no detail escapes your attention and no subject or issue is left aside;
- You have an analytical approach, but you also know how to be autonomous and are capable of taking decisions without always having all the relevant information to hand;
- You're confortable with uncertainty and able to find the right way to work in a changing environnement;
- You have good writing skills and the ability to communicate with clients in French and English;
- You have good IT skills, SQL skills would be an asset;
