Take advantage of our tuition assistance and residency programs to grow both personally and professionally.System Administrator Position SummaryThe System Administrator provides evaluation, design, selection, implementation, installation, testing and on-going support of hardware, applications, and latest Microsoft client/server operating systems. Provides support to the Service Desk and Client Support teams. The primary focus is the underlying technologies supporting the hardware and software used throughout the TidalHealth organization. Systems supported may be physical or virtual and may be located on site or remote. Coordinates problem resolution and knowledge transfer to Service Desk and Client Support staff. Provides consulting and project management support as needed. Develops supporting and end user documentation. Uses tools such as SCCM and mobile device management to manage devices. Supports and maintains user and computer account information in Active Directory, including rights, security, and group membership. Monitor system performance for problem resolution and long-term planning. Automates tasks through use of scripting.This position can be fully remote.System Administrator Position RequirementsEducation
  • Must possess an AA Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
ExperienceSystem Administrator required experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of desktop and server hardware and software support experience in a large customer environment.
  • Must possess experience systems administration functions such as; installation/configuration of new or existing servers, restoring files from backup, assist with systems hardware and software upgrades, and monitoring system configuration to ensure data integrity.
  • 1-3 years’ experience with Microsoft Active Directory
  • 1-3 years’ experience with installing and troubleshooting: client/server applications, Microsoft Windows client/server operating systems, client/server hardware.
  • 1-3 years’ experience supporting client/server-based applications in large customer environment.
  • 1-3 years’ experience with large scale deployments of applications
  • 1-3 years’ experience deploying MS Windows Desktop OS with Microsoft WDS
  • 1-3 years’ experience with current Windows Server OS systems in an Active Directory Domain
System Administrator preferred experience:
  • 1-3 years’ experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure – creating, deploying, and/or troubleshooting Virtual Desktops preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience with Microsoft O365 preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience with PowerShell Scripting preferred.
