Neudesic is currently seeking a Solution Architect for our Digital Platforms service line, to be based in our Irvine market. This role requires the perfect mix of being a brilliant technologist and a having a deep appreciation for how technology drives business value. You will have broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to architect solutions by mapping client business problems to end-to-end technology solutions. Demonstrated ability to engage senior level technology decision makers in application architecture, cloud modernization and continuous delivery is a must. This role is a key enabler for Neudesic's account executives and Client Partners as you jointly pursue opportunities to bring Neudesic's services to market.In this role, you will drive Neudesic's market expansion in Irvine by working closely with a local sales and delivery unit. You will focus on leveraging your deep technical background in software architecture, software design, software engineering, and the software development process to pursue sales opportunities, lead delivery teams and write code. Some projects will lean heavily on your ability to consume and understand existing large multi-vendor on-premise and cloud architectures and consolidate them down to a coherent go-forward strategy for the client.While your day-to-day activities are not exclusively writing code, you must possess the ability to write software and relate concepts to your team and client stakeholders alike. You will leverage your practical experience in developing large, complex business solutions and team with highly skilled technologists from around the world to ensure flawless service delivery. With your strong background in a diverse set of technologies you will assess which ones are most applicable in solving the real-world business problems of the present and the future.To be successful, you will exhibit strong leadership qualities necessary for building trust with clients and our technologists. You will partner with solution architects and the Directors on the Neudesic team to drive client success by providing practical guidance, architectures, solutions, and project estimates based on your years of experience in software development. You will partner with a diverse sales unit to professionally represent Neudesic experience and ability to drive business results. Finally, you will mentor consultants in our service line along their career path as they report to you, looking for support and guidance.Critical Success Factors for the Role:· Deep technical understanding of modern software development· Ability to get hands on and not just talk and draw pictures· Ability to proactively engage in complex sales pursuits with sales team members· Ability to paint a technology vision and communicate its value to clients and Neudesic teammates· A passion for technology and digital transformation· An innovative mind that is creative and doesn't follow cookie cutter ideas· A disciplined approach to your work life and your craft· 10+ years of overall experience, to include a minimum of 5 years of enterprise, full-life cycle development in the professional IT/Software Development services industry· Ability to manage direct reports through 1-on-1s, feedback and mentoringThe following technologies and concepts are important to us. Azure PaaS (App Service, API Management, Functions, Logic Apps, Table Storage, Redis Cache, Azure AD, Notification Hubs, IoT and Event Hub, Stream Analytics, Cognitive Services, Machine Learning, Service Bus, Queues, Search, Application Insights, CDN)
Various industry leading platforms such as Boomi, Kafka, RabbitMQ used in enterprise architectures
Serverless Architectures and Containers (Docker, Kubernetes), Server development (NodeJS, IIS), storage and search (Cosmos DB, AWS Dynamo DB, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure Search, Elastic Search, Data Warehouse)
Security concepts such as authentication, authorization, SAML, token management, Azure B2C
Agile, Continuous Integration/Deployment, DevOps

Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
MBA is a plus.
