- Architect and lead the evolution of a mature fintech software system, ensuring it remains scalable, secure, and efficient amidst continuous updates.
- Collaborate closely with client teams and managers, integrating their feedback into the system design and updates.
- Provide leadership in implementing and refining software architecture to accommodate new features and changes.
- Work alongside internal and external teams to ensure modifications align with strategic goals and compliance requirements.
- Mentor and support development teams, instilling best practices for Go programming and system architecture in a dynamic environment.
- Implement updates and enhancements to an existing fintech software application, ensuring high standards of integration and functionality.
- Directly interact with client teams to capture requirements, propose improvements, and ensure developments align with client needs.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, refactor existing code to enhance performance, and adapt to new requirements.
- Develop new features focusing on scalability, security, and robust performance.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation reflecting the latest system changes and specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with a strong focus on software architecture in the financial sector.
- Extensive experience with Go programming, particularly in modifying and enhancing existing systems.
- Proficiency in continuous integration tools like CircleCI, and familiarity with AWS cloud especially ECS for container management.
- Strong background in monitoring tools such as Datadog for performance tracking and issue resolution.
- Expertise in managing and utilizing PostgreSQL databases, with a solid understanding of SQL.
- Proven track record of effective collaboration with client teams and managing stakeholder expectations in a project environment.
- Deep knowledge of fintech regulations and the ability to design systems that comply with industry standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
