Recreation Specialist - Food and Beverage Concessions (Part-Time)

- Sell food/ beverage items to customers, collect money, and make appropriate change.
- Follow State health regulations for safe food handling; prepares food for resale including following prescribed methods of preparation and determining quantity to prepare; package food for resale and store food according to health regulations.
- Clean concession area following appropriate methods in accordance with the State health department regulations.
- Prepare daily sales information including counting monies and preparing cash bank for next day's sales.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and six months of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Class C Driver's License
- Food Safety Certified or ability to obtain after hire (City of Wilmington pays for associated training)
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old. An essential function of this position will include the distribution of alcohol.
Exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally, 10 lbs. frequently, or negligible amounts constantly OR may require walking or standing to a significant degree.WORKING CONDITIONS:
