A Packager works in the production or processing department. A Packager is at the 2nd level in the operator progression. A Packager is a team member and supports the Operators and leads in fulfilling customer orders in a manner to avoid injury, meet all requirements of a Trainee. The person in this role follows assigned task related to producing products for customers. Task will include packaging product, building shippers, labeling, applying seals, inspecting for defects, palletizing, moving full pallets of product, lifting, pushing, standing 8-10 hours, sweeping, mopping, wiping/cleaning, emptying trash, delivering samples to QA, filing containers, taping boxes.Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $14.00Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am
Pay: $15.00Meets all position responsibilities of Trainee:
  • Learns the product, processes, GMPs, safety rules.
  • Demonstrates teamwork and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates great attendance, no unexcused absences in the last 60 days. Arrives to work on time, returns from breaks and lunches on time, works the full shift without stopping early.
  • Assist operators with meeting processing targets and goals for safety, quality, and quantity.
  • Complete task as trained and directed. Direction can come from operators, leads, or processing leadership.
  • Follows all plant GMPs without fail.
  • Completes all training as directed.
  • Represents a professional, respectful, and courteous manner when interacting with co-workers, leadership, customers, and suppliers.
Additional to Trainee:
Demonstrates competency in repeated task and products. Can be trusted to work with some independence. Personally committed, follows, and meets worker safety rules, follows GMPs without fault or correction, meets customer specifications.

  • Able to learn and retain training.
  • Able to stand for 8-10 hours. Can lift up to 65 lbs. Can push or pull up to 50 lbs.

  • Quick learner
  • Has communication skills to discuss right and wrong with operators and leadership.
  • Has High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 120 days manufacturing experience
