Physical therapists are overworked and underpaid. They often see too many patients in a day, work long hours, and are constantly pressured to hit their metrics. This can be incredibly frustrating and lead to burnout. We believe that physical therapists should be able to focus on their patients without having to worry about these things. That's why we offer a supportive environment with a manageable patient load so you can focus on providing the best possible care that helps patients see real results and experience real rehab.Whether you’re a new grad or a seasoned professional in the field of physical therapy, you might be at a point where you're considering a career transition. We all know that while rewarding, a career in physical therapy can sometimes pose challenges that lead to professional stagnation or dissatisfaction.Perhaps you're feeling undervalued or underutilized in your current role, or maybe the learning opportunities have become scarce, and your growth seems to have plateaued. Maybe you’re a new grad and you’re worried your first PT job will throw you in the deep end and kill your initial passion for PT. Are you wanting to make a significant impact or utilize the full breadth of your skills? Or maybe the lack of work-life balance is leaving you feeling overwhelmed, with little time to pursue personal interests or simply recharge. If any of these pain points resonate with you, I'd like to introduce you to an opportunity that could offer you the change you're looking for.Hi, I am Nick Trevino, owner of Pivotal PT and Mobility. I hope you are okay with me telling you a little about our backstory.Much like you, I’ve always had an overwhelming passion for helping people feel relief from pain and return to their life. To see a patient recover and get back to doing what they love, to have a Movement Without Pain, to say to you “Thank you for being my solution”.After graduating from grad school...I worked in a few different settings throughout my career.

Total number of Evals...Total Number Of Visits...Productivity...Units Billed...Finalize Notes...metrics... Metrics... METRICS!You get the idea.I remember the nights coming home late, and being so frustrated.Almost to the point where I was wondering if PT was really the career for me.Don't get me wrong I learned a ton during those work experiences, but I wanted to "Be Different".So, I started my own little "Side Hustle"I was soooo anxious about it...But my FRUSTRATION outweighed my FEAR.A couple of patients started to trickle in...Then a couple of patients started to get better...QUICKERThe interesting part was...I was performing the same manual techniques...I was performing the same exercises...But my patients were getting better... quicker... like 3-5x quicker. It was because the patients had my full ATTENTION.At that moment I decided to go "All In" and treat patients in a 1-to-1 setting...... Not, 1-to-3 or worse 1-to-Many.So, I quit my full-time job and decided to focus all my attention on growing our clinic.Hopefully, that's not too cliché.Over the past couple of years, we have been able to help hundreds of local residents and grow our team. The key "metrics" we pride ourselves on are not volume, number of new patients, or gross revenue...But our customer satisfaction and staff retention rates. We would love to have the opportunity to meet you and have a discussion with you.We offer:
  • Mentorship: We want to make this clear from the very beginning, you are not alone. We invite and expect you to navigate your work/career together. We will have dedicated time for mentorship and career growth. If you’re goal is leadership, to open up your own private practice, or to be the best PT in the state – we are here to empower you on that journey and meet those goals
  • Competitive Salary: We prefer our physical therapists not to work multiple jobs to support their living (Unless they want to) to prevent burnout. So we make sure our Base Salary, Bonus Structure, and Benefits Package are reflective of that. Our bonus structure is simple and transparent: 10% of the companies profits go back to our staff.
  • Advancement Opportunities: For those who play a key role in expanding current business (both in the growth of the company and development of the product, i.e. research oriented) advancements to the clinical director and part owner will be provided as options for advancement. These will have concrete time frames and bench marks, I’ve worked too many places where this was promised but then always kept vague and ephemeral. The goalposts will be defined, and there will always be room for you to learn, grow, and advance.
  • Work-Life Balance: Another cornerstone of this role is work-life balance. We believe that a healthy balance between personal and professional life is essential for long-term success and satisfaction. In this role, your personal time will be respected. When you clock out for the day, work will not follow you home, allowing you to fully recharge and pursue your personal interests and commitments. We take off all the major holidays, no weekends, no evenings and you can pick the hours that work for you. No-one likes doing hours of notes, there’s no quicker way to kill your love of PT than to bury it in paperwork. With 1-on-1 patient visits the volume of notes stay manageable and we use the most efficient EMR, templates, text-expanders and AI/LLM to keep documentation quick and painless. Currently it takes 45 seconds to write a treatment note and 4.5 minutes to write an evaluation and we are always looking for innovative ways to make that faster and less frustrating
  • Collaborative Decision Making: We pride ourselves on being a clinician-owned small business. This means that policies are crafted as a team with patient care and clinician well-being in mind, not dictated by out of state corporate entities. As a result, you’ll experience a workplace where decisions are made with practicality and compassion, ensuring a supportive environment for both patients and clinicians alike.
