- Medicaid State of Texas Access Reform (STAR) program for low-income children and pregnant women
- Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) for the children of low-income parents, which includes CHIP Perinatal benefits for unborn children of pregnant women who do not qualify for Medicaid STAR
- Health Insurance Marketplace Plans that offer individual health coverage that includes preventive care, emergency services, prescription drugs, and hospitalization available to all, regardless of pre-existing conditions.
- Community Health Choice (HMO D-SNP), a Medicare Advantage Dual Special Needs plan for people with both Medicare and Medicaid that combines Medicare Part A and Part B benefits, Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage, and Medicaid benefits with additional health benefits like dental, vision, transportation, and more.
- Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelors Degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree
- Work Experience Two-plus (2+) years of outside sales and marketing experience required.Five (5) years managed care experience; Knowledge of Medicaid, CHIP, STAR+PLUS, and Dual Special Needs Plan products required. Prefer experience working in a volunteer or paid capacity with underserved communities with added knowledge of Social Determinates of Health a plus.Years proven project management experience.
- 3 years-experience coordinating / organizing outreach events and trainings, partnership building, networking with agencies and organizations, and community outreach as well as demonstrated experience in strategic communications planning, health promotion, public health, social marketing, and information dissemination. Experience developing informational materials and presentations is required.
- Ability to public speak and present our mission with confidence and professionalism.
- Software Operated: Must be computer literate. Microsoft Word ,Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook

Must obtain Group Insurance License within 90 days of employment. Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple and competing priorities. High degree of independent decision making and creative problem solving capability. Strong negotiation skills and customer focused. Spanish preferred. Experience in data gathering, interpretation, and evaluation. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and writing skills.
