They specialize in providing comprehensive engineering services for residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal projects.Job Description: As a Civil Engineer specializing in Land Development, you will play a key role in project teams, contributing to the planning, design, and implementation of various land development projects. This position offers an opportunity for growth and advancement.Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, planners, and other stakeholders to develop creative and effective land development solutions.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports for site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control.
  • Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and due diligence assessments to evaluate project constraints and opportunities.
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations to design stormwater management systems, including detention basins, retention ponds, and conveyance systems.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals for project development.
  • Conduct construction site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plans, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction cost estimates, project schedules, and contract documents.
  • Mentor and supervise junior engineering staff and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to land development engineering.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
  • PE certification is required
  • Strong technical skills in land development design, including proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading project teams, managing budgets, and interacting with clients and regulatory agencies.
