At New Balance, We Got Now.JOB MISSION:The Global Training Program Manager is responsible for executing training strategies for prioritized HR and business initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of instructional design and training methodologies, strong project management skills, and expertise in deploying programs across multiple locations globally.MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Manage the global end-to-end learning process for assigned programs including analysis, design and development, delivery, evaluation framework, and impact measurement of prioritized training initiatives and programs
  • Contribute to the global instructional design strategy, including the standards, managing the program design process, and partnering with global learning program owners to create high-impact learning experiences
  • Develop, maintain and lead large-scale training project plans, including budget, timelines, milestones and resource allocation
  • Design blended learning approaches that incorporates various training methodologies, including digital e-learning modules, video configurations, instructor-led trainings, train-the-trainers, job aids, evaluations, and knowledge retention mechanisms
  • Lead train-the-trainers with identified regional facilitators to equip them with the necessary content, knowledge and confidence needed to lead the implementation and training of initiatives and programs within their areas of responsibility
  • Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for identified groups, both in person and through virtual platforms
  • Track key metrics and business performance to evaluate efficacy and impact of programs and learner experiences, and implement necessary continuous improvement enhancements
  • Keep abreast of current trends in adult learning methodologies, training development and digital instructional design technologies
  • Facilitate the coordination of training logistics, including scheduling sessions, securing training venues or virtual platforms, managing participant registrations and tracking training activity and trends
  • Manage the translation process for training and related documentation for regional deployments
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
  • 7+ years of work experience in instructional design, especially in designing global development programs.
  • Proven experience as a training program manager, or similar role in large-scale training and talent management projects
  • Proficient with eLearning and visual media development tools like Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WellSaid Labs, and Vyond.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities and large, long-term projects to ensure budgets, schedules and performance criteria are met
  • Excellent training facilitation and presentation skills, both in person and virtually
  • Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (preferably Workday Learn)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of perspectives at all levels of the organization
  • Customer centric, identifying and anticipating stakeholder requirements, expectations and needs
  • Understand the importance of diversity, inclusion, and accessibility within our learning tools
  • Strong attention to detail and able to grasp the big picture
  • Change management knowledge and experience is highly desirable
