- A professional with experience as a working foremen in commercial construction, that are responsible for building and remodeling commercial office buildings, hospitals, hotels, schools, restaurants, shopping malls, including multi-family structures.
- Duties include working with wood, light-gauge studs and load-bearing steel framing for interior partitions, exterior framing. May include working with concrete forming systems and finishing interior and exterior walls, partitions, doors & hardware, and various ceiling types.
- Following blueprints and ability to calculate material deliveries and schedule material needed in advance of work.
- Constructing building frameworks, including wall studs, floor joists, door frames, temporary protection, and safety measures.
- Instructing and directing laborers and other construction trade helpers to support the needs of a project.
- Willingness to train and help develop crew members such as apprentices, laborers, and helpers to grow a more skilled labor force.
- Must have at least 1 years experience working in commercial construction as a working carpenter foreman in commercial construction.
- Must have at least 5 years experience as a commercial carpenter.
- Equipment operator certification a plus.
- Computer skills and use of IPAD a plus.
- Travel out of town to work on remote job sites as directed by management.
