Promon is experiencing growth and expanding its sales operations. To facilitate this growth effectively, we are seeking a dedicated Global Director of Sales Engineering to oversee our global team of Sales Engineers. In this role, you will lead a team of six talented and technically proficient Sales Engineers and strategize for the team's future expansion. Currently, the team is distributed across the USA, UK, Germany, Dubai, and Hong Kong.As the Global Director of Sales Engineering, you will be accountable for ensuring that Promon engages with customers and prospects strategically, effectively, and to high standards. To succeed, you are expected to heighten the way we work with technical- and business discovery, proof of concept, storytelling and change management. Ongoing enablement of the SE team is important to strengthen their skills in this rapidly growing specialist area.Your responsibility will be to:
  • Strategize to identify top opportunities and prioritize prospects aligned with our market presence.
  • Ensure the team successfully conduct business and technical assessments for a strong foundation.
  • Secure demonstrations and proposals that resonate with diverse clients.
  • Utilize innovative communication channels to reach a broader audience.
  • Foster connections with teams, peers, and leaders to amplify impact.
  • Streamline processes to enhance the sales engineering team's efficiency. Optimizing workflows for productivity and scale, integrating seamlessly with Salesforce.
  • Provide transparent and reliable reports on business impact to support leadership.
  • Manage and lead Sales Engineers, securing best practice including learning, development and performance.
To ensure success in the role we favor candidates who possess:
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Over 5 years of Sales Engineering experience and cyber security, preferably specializing in mobile app security
  • Formal leadership experience is preferred, informal experience will also be considered
  • Proven track record of leading teams to success and fostering innovation
  • Hands-on expertise with cutting-edge security technologies and CRM tools like Salesforce
