Sr. / CPSO to join the Program Security team in Troy, AL.Perform duties as Industrial Program Security Rep. for a large program in both Collateral and Special Access Program (SAP) capacities.The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of security to include, personnel, physical, technical, policy guidance research, and classification management utilizing the requirements set forth in the DoD 5205 Series, 32 CFR Part 117 and others as applicable.Duties also include program briefings, presentations, completing Program Access Requests (PAR), classified meeting support, program management support, and security education and classified shipments.**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.Basic QualificationsTop Secret Security clearance with an investigation current or CV date within 5 years.Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.Experience providing security support in SAP environment.Working knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manuals and NISPOM.Prior program security experience working in a classified environment.Works well independently and within a group.Desired skillsAbility to work closely with government partners, security counterparts, program managers, and offices within the Department of Defense industry partners to ensure successful execution of program activity orCustomer and team oriented and able to function with limited supervision.
